Stilltide Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-12
Stilltide is in development and has not been released. These terms may change before release.
Who we are
Stilltide is provided by Murray Movement Labs LLC ("we"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What Stilltide does
Stilltide gives you a dedicated phone number. Your co-parent texts that number, or, if they also use Stilltide and the two of you link, messages you in the app. Stilltide then:
- Receives each message and keeps the original, unchanged, as a record you can export.
- Shows you a calmer summary that keeps the facts and requests.
- Flags messages that look urgent, so you can see them right away.
- Lets you send replies from the same number. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
Summaries are produced by software. They can be wrong. Every summary is labelled "not the original message", and you can always read the original.
What Stilltide does not do
- Stilltide is not a lawyer, a counselor or an emergency service. It does not give legal advice.
- We make no claim about how any court or agency will treat your records.
- Stilltide does not read the texts already on your phone.
- Stilltide does not score, rate or profile your co-parent.
- In an emergency, call 911.
Your responsibilities
- Use Stilltide only for your own co-parenting communication.
- Give us accurate information.
- Keep your device and your account secure.
- Do not use Stilltide to break the law.
- There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: do not use Stilltide to harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, and do not send hateful or sexual content.
Reports and blocking
If your co-parent also uses Stilltide and you message each other in the app, either of you can report a message to us or block the other at any time. A block ends your conversation in the app and stops the two of you from linking again. The parent who blocked can lift it in the app's Settings, under Blocked co-parents; you would then link again with a new code.
We review reports within 24 hours. If a message breaks these terms, we end that conversation and block the parent who sent it, so the two of you can't link again. A block made by Stilltide can't be lifted in the app: email [email protected] if you want it changed. What was already exchanged stays in each of your records.
Your content
You own your messages and your settings. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Stilltide for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Stilltide is planned as a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly, with a free trial. Billing goes through Apple or Google, and you cancel in the app store you subscribed through. Stilltide is not for sale yet, and pricing is not yet available.
If your subscription ends, your account becomes read-only for 90 days. New messages are still saved and you can still export your record, but the AI features are off. After 90 days your account is deleted and your number is released. If you subscribe again before then, nothing is lost.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account inside the app at any time. Deleting it removes your record of messages, your parenting plan and your Stilltide number. This cannot be undone, so the app offers you an export first. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the app store too.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we change them or the Privacy Policy, the app asks you to agree again before you go on. You can stop using Stilltide at any time.
SMS terms
Program name
Stilltide.
What it is
Stilltide is a service for co-parents. The subscriber's co-parent texts a dedicated Stilltide number. Replies from that number are sent only when the subscriber sends them. The first time the subscriber replies to a person, that reply is preceded by one notice explaining that the number uses Stilltide.
How you opt in
There is one way to opt in, and it starts with you. The number is not advertised anywhere and is never used for marketing.
- Step 1 — you are given the number. The subscriber (the parent who uses Stilltide) gives you their dedicated Stilltide number. The app offers them this text to send you from their own phone: “Please use this number for everything about the kids from now on: (555) 555-0123. Messages to it are read in Stilltide, an app that helps me read and keep co-parenting messages as a record. Msg & data rates may apply. Text STOP to that number to stop its replies.”
- Step 2 — you text the number first. Opting in means texting that number yourself. Stilltide never texts a person who has not texted the number first.
- Step 3 — the one-time notice. The first time the subscriber chooses to reply to you, the reply is preceded by this notice: “Stilltide: this number uses Stilltide, a service that helps the person you are texting read and organize co-parenting messages. You are enrolled to receive its replies. Messages are processed by software and kept as a record. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
- Step 4 — you stay in control. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from the number, START to receive them again, or HELP for help.
By texting a Stilltide number you are asking to receive the subscriber's replies from it. See how people opt in, with screenshots.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the conversation. Texts from a Stilltide number are replies the subscriber chooses to send, plus the one-time notice before the first one.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out and help
Reply STOP to stop receiving texts from that number. Reply START to receive them again. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].
If you keep texting the number after you reply STOP, your messages are still recorded for the person who owns it.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent or opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are not sold. See the Privacy Policy. If you received a text from a Stilltide number, see what that means.
